We are Pittsburgh natives who moved away 11 years ago. I sent these Shamrock Smiley Cookies to my son in Minnesota, to arrive just in time for his college mid-terms.
For the past three years, I have sent him Smiley Cookies during mid-terms and finals. It is a great late-night treat that never lasts long in the dorm.
Smiley Cookies are not only a delicious tradition, they serve as a reminder that no matter where life takes him, Pittsburgh will always be home.
