Once the baking and cooling is done, the artistry has just begun (there’s a certain poetry to baking, you know). With a flourish that never fails to delight, our bakers then brandish their finest decorative demeanor and set about hand icing each cookie with our signature smile … go ahead, take a moment here.
Like masters who never tire of the defining stoke, they deftly apply the famous face to our Sugar Smiley Cookies, which transcends language to express undying love, true friendship, charity, team spirit, congratulations, good will, good taste and a host of other ridiculously lovely sentiments we can’t go into right now because we get all emotional, which flies in the face of the smile we honor — and that whole gushy tear thing tends to mess up the icing, too.

Our cookies are made in a peanut-free and tree-nut free facility. No peanuts, tree nuts, or nuts of any kind ever enter our bakery. We also ensure that our ingredients are not produced in facilities that process nuts.
Our cookies do contain Wheat, Egg, Soy, and Dairy ingredients.
The Orthodox Union supervises our production and certifies that all of our cookie gifts are Kosher Dairy.

I ordered these the moment I found out they could be shipped to SC! I left PA when I was 6 and still crave their sugary sweet taste 18 years later. They taste just as good as I remember and melt right in your mouth. :o)

I sent these to my aunt out of town who was beginning chemo treatments. She was pretty down and needed something to cheer her up. When she called to say she'd gotten her cookies, I could hear the "smile" in her voice. They arrived packaged beautifully and completely unbroken with the nice note I wanted attached. I ordered these because I wanted to try them. I had read about how great they were. I ate these within a week. Seriously..the best cookie ever...these also freeze well..but they didn't stay in the freezer long..they were eaten quickly. I highly recommend!!

This is the second time I have purchased these cookies for my home away from home daughter. She was very happy and enjoyed the taste of these cookies once again. This time she commented on how cute the cookie box was that they were packaged in. She is planning on keeping it to hold supplies in and to have memories of her mom everytime she looks at it! Recently my husband was feeling a bit homesick, so I ordered him a dozen smiley cookies for Christmas! They were amazingly fresh when they arrived, it was if I had just walked into an Eat N Park and gotten them fresh from the oven. I will certainly order again whenever we need a bit of the 'Burgh or just a smile.

I absolutely love these cookies. My husband though I was nuts when I told him that I wanted to order cookies. He just didn't get it... till he tried one. Then he thought we should have gotten more. He was reluctant to share with the kids!!! lol (i'm pretty sure he was teasing)
The cookies are very unique and I have never met anyone who didn't like them. They are fresh and delicious. They arrived unbroken and rather quickly.
The price got only three smileys because they are a bit expensive, but I've bought them before and will again. I guess there are some things you are just willing to pay more for!
