Gravestones
Buy a package of pre-made (but not baked) sugar cookies. Separate the dough disks and cut them in half. Stretch them a bit so that when they bake, they’ll resemble gravestones. Bake your cookies as directed and let them cool.

Buy a package of several clear desert cups; available at most party stores. Fill them halfway full with chocolate pudding and then to the top with crumbled chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos). With a bit of decorative icing gel, write ‘RIP’ on each of your cookies and let them dry for a bit. Place the cookie halves into the cups and you’ve got a little cemetery. For an extra cute but creepy look, plant a gummy worm in your ‘dirt’ and let it hang over the edge of the cup.

Sugar Cookies
Buy a package of pre-made sugar cookies and instead of pulling the discs apart, roll the dough out so it’s a ¼ of an inch thick. Use Halloween inspired cookie-cutters to cut out shapes and then bake as directed. Once your cookies have cooled, decorate them with frosting or cookie paints. You can find cookie cutters in the shapes of cats, ghosts, skulls, bats and even moons; any would make a great Halloween cookie shape.

Halloween Gift Basket
A Halloween gift basket is super easy to make! You can make a variety of sugar cookies or even make cookie ‘suckers’; cookies on a stick. Make any type of Halloween cookies you like, press a stick into the bottom (found at craft or baking stores) and bake as directed. You can place foam in your basket and place the cookie suckers into the foam. Wrap the basket in cellophane; add a black ribbon and you’re made the perfect gift basket for the holiday!
